Aerospace Structural Components: Nose Section Fuselage

The structure, or fuselage, is a primary component of any aircraft, holding subsections like the cockpit, windows, doors and seating.

Titanium Airfoil Milling

The group of components within the nose section is affected by tension during flight and therefor the material used to machine the fuselage must be strong and stiff with resistance to cracks and corrosion. Often times fuselage components are made of CFRP or carbon fiber composites. In this example, the tools used to machine this window tripping work with in CFRP material applications.
